National Geographic Traveller (UK) Awards nominations
LONDON (14 November 2014) – National Geographic Traveller has been nominated for a number of prestigious awards on the eve of its fourth birthday.
With BSME, AITO, PPA and the British Travel Awards all holding their award ceremonies in the coming weeks, National Geographic Traveller has been shortlisted for Editor of the Year, Travel Writer of the Year, Designer of the Year, Cover of the Year and Best Consumer Holiday Magazine.
Pat Riddell has been shortlisted for the Editor of the Year, Lifestyle in the British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) Awards taking place on 17 November at The Brewery, London.
Four contributors have been shortlisted for the Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO) Travel Writer of the Year award 鈥 Helen Warwick, Chris Peacock, Pol O Conghaile and Nicky Trup. The winner will be announced on 18 November at Central Hall Westminster, London.
The magazine has reached the final three in the Best Consumer Holiday Magazine category in the British Travel Awards, held on 26 November at Battersea Evolution, London.
And finally, Chris Hudson has been shortlisted for Designer of the Year at the Professional Publishers Association (PPA) Independent Publisher Awards as well as Cover of the Year, to be held on the 5 December at the Montcalm Hotel, London.
