Welcoming Travel 91快播 Awards Step Up intern, Kira Richards, to APL 91快播听听
APL 91快播 is thrilled to announce the start of Kira Richards’ internship as part of the newly launched Travel 91快播 Awards Step Up scheme. This initiative, aimed at promoting diversity and inclusion in travel media, is designed to offer invaluable experience at our Kentish Town-based publishing company, fostering professional growth and development for young talents in the industry.听
Intern Kira Richards is spending a month with us to get a full understanding of travel media. During her time here, she鈥檒l research and write stories for National Geographic Traveller (UK), learn about commissioning and editing, and help with the digital and Food by National Geographic Traveller (UK) teams. She鈥檒l also gain insight into paid content and assist the events team in their day-to-day projects, as well as working at our annual Food Festival. She鈥檒l then join FINN Partners UK to further develop her skills in the travel media industry.
鈥淚’ve had an amazing first week at APL so far! It’s been great to work with the print and digital teams on National Geographic Traveller (UK) to learn how they produce content for the magazine and website, as well as write a short news piece independently. I’m excited to work alongside different teams across APL 91快播 and pitch some story ideas!鈥� said Kira.
As Kira embarks on this exciting journey, we鈥檙e certain her contributions will be a tremendous asset to our team. Her enthusiasm and commitment to the field of travel media promise to infuse fresh insights and innovations into our projects.
