National Geographic Traveller aims to discover the best new UK talent with its eighth annual competition.
Simply write 500 words on an inspirational travel experience. Keep it focused, capture the essence of a destination and ensure it has National Geographic Traveller鈥檚 defining features: immersive travel and authentic storytelling.

The prize
The winner will see their piece published in the magazine and online, and have the opportunity to write a blog on natgeotraveller.co.uk. Plus, they鈥檒l win a two-week Thailand Hike, Bike and Kayak Adventure with G Adventures. With a local guide on hand, and accommodation and transport taken care of, this small-group trip delivers a hassle-free but physically rewarding experience.
